Green Run (1994) Tape
5:30 **a Program Notes . Green Run explores the musical motion of long, slow glissandi and their interactions. The work is based on FM synthesis techniques that generate different harmonic bands of frequencies. These sound masses slowly evolve and intersect, as I imagine that wind currents and temperature masses do. The title is derived from the Green Run Project, a 1949 experiment in which 8,000 curies of iodine-131 was intentionally released into the atmosphere in Hanford, Washington. **a Downloads:Hi-fi | Lo-fi
